How to Buy Nevada Foreclosures

The State of Nevada primarily follows a non-judicial procedure for deed of trust foreclosure. In circumstances where there is an absence of power of sale language in the deed of trust, the lender can choose to use the judicial foreclosure procedure.

The notice period is long drawn; after the owner of the property gets the notice of default. This property in foreclosure generally cannot sell at a public auction of foreclosure sale before a period of four months.

Once the foreclosure property becomes a Real Estate Owned property, its price, more often than not, goes up. Waiting to buy the property till this stage is not advisable.
