Sales of townhome foreclosures, non-foreclosed dwellings and other types of residential properties declined in the Milwaukee metropolitan region in March 2011 compared with one year ago. When quarterly numbers are assessed, the first quarter of the current year also showed a drop in sales when held against the first three months of 2010.
Improved signs of revival have been visible in the housing market in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. In comparison with the first quarter of 2008, the second quarter reported, not only homes selling faster, but also for more money. Some segments of the market do remain stagnant though.
