Most condos management has their own security guards and hence condos are more secure than single family homes. In fact, some condominiums have CCTV cameras installed and this makes the condo dwellers feel much safe; you do not have to worry about leaving your elderly parent at home alone. Also, it is uncommon to encounter incidences such as daylight robberies or other unsocial behavior.

Investments

A condo that is located in an upmarket area is a good real estate investment. This is because the property will definitely appreciate in value in the coming years. If you will have to dispose it in future for whatever reason, you are sure that you will sell it at a higher price than what you have bought it for. Most condos go at an average of 15-20% higher than their purchase price. With a condo, you are assured of making profit should you decide to sell the property.

Unlike most single family homes, condominiums come with amenities such as tennis courts, swimming pools, communication centers, exercise rooms, and so on. They are ideal homes for small families or those without children.

Before buying a condo, have it inspected by your real estate agent. Keep in mind that when buying a condo you are also buying a part of the entire building. You will have to contribute to the cost of maintaining the condos for sale building or doing corrective work.
